To log into the shell, you need an ssh program like putty for windows

Mac OS9

Mac OSX

Mac OSX comes with a built in application called terminal that you can use connect. Just open it and type using your resist.ca username in place of username:
ssh usename@mail.resist.ca
of if you want to connect to our webserver:
ssh username@web.resist.ca
You will be asked to accept the fingerprint for our server the first time you do this.

Linux

We ass-u-me if you are using linux, you already know about ssh.
